Sat, November 5, 2005 - 2:31 PMI'm with you completely. That film totally missed the mark, and it's the **only** Pee Wee project I'd say that about.
The romantic stuff with Gina (?) seemed really wrong because, unlike Dottie or Miss Yvonne, she was actually sexy.

Sun, November 6, 2005 - 2:53 AMI agree. It was the least likable out of any of his creations. I didn't like all the animals... and the fact that the trainers (with whips) were in the background as extras. That was kind of creepy.
I did like, however, how he flopped himself onto his fiance in front of the school children, as well as the later sex scene (train going into tunnel, fireworks, lava explosion, female mud wrestlers). That part was AMAZING.
But yeah. A bit disappointing. I wonder how the new one is going to turn out... -

Sun, November 6, 2005 - 11:47 AMI'm still very skeptical that there will be a new one. I'll believe it when I see it. I wish I had more confidence in it, but I've seen nothing more than rumors about it. -

Sun, November 6, 2005 - 9:19 PMI've read a few interviews about it. There's always the chance that it won't happen.
